가격 안정화를 위해 유통량을 줄이는것을 목표로 바이백 펀드의 KAI, sKAI, vKAI 보유량 전부와 데브 펀드의 sKAI 보유량중 일부가 12/8(수) 오후에 소각될 예정입니다.
※ 소각 시점에 따라 바이백 펀드의 KAI 소각 수량은 약간의 차이가 있을 수 있습니다.
그동안 바이백 펀드는 DAO 펀드처럼 바이백한 KAI를 보유해서 바이백 펀드 규모 확장을 위한 자산으로 활용하고 만약 가격 영향도가 크게 발생하는 많은 수량인 경우 소각할 계획이었습니다.
지난 Kai Auto 런칭으로 KAI 가격이 회복되었을때 바이백 펀드 KAI 보유량에 대해 시장 참여자들이 매도 압력으로 인식하는 요인이 되었습니다. 이에 바이백 펀드 KAI 보유량 소각을 통해 전체 유통량을 줄여 서비스 개선에 대한 가격 반응을 높이고 매도 압력으로 인식되지 않도록 방향을 변경했습니다.
이와 함께 단기적으로 유동성풀 APR을 높이고 서비스 개선에 대한 가격 반응을 높이기 위해 Contract 수령/유동성 공급 수량/유동성 공급 에어드랍 보상으로 누적된 데브 펀드의 sKAI 보유량도 함께 소각을 진행합니다.
향후 수요와 공급 균형을 위해 바이백 및 프로토콜에서 발생한 수수료는 모두 소각해서 지속적으로 공급량을 조절합니다.

바이백 펀드 수익화로 획득한 KSP 및 에어드랍 토큰은 100% KUSDT로 변환합니다. 변환된 KUSDT는 바이백 준비금을 제외하고 지속적인 수량 확보와 최대한 KSP 및 에어드랍 토큰을 확보할 수 있는 수익화 포트폴리오 구성에 사용합니다.
Buyback algorithm
차익 거래 방지를 위해 비정기적으로 진행되던 바이백은 바이백과 KAI의 소각 알고리즘 적용을 준비하고 있습니다. 업데이트전까지 바이백한 KAI는 정기적으로 수동 소각이 진행되며 업데이트 후 자동 소각으로 변경됩니다. 한정적인 자원내에서 효율적인 사용을 위해 차익 거래봇이 동작하지 않는 마지노선을 정기적으로 모니터링하고 있으며 적용 시점에 별도로 안내드립니다.

바이백 펀드의 스테이블코인 보유량이 KAI 유통량을 초과할 경우 sKAI를 바이백해서 소각합니다.
vKAI boost service improvement
Change boost target
KDAI, KUSDC 페어는 업데이트 후 sKAI가 에어드랍되지 않으며 KUSDT+KAI 유동성 장려 및 부스트 참여 보상으로 사용됩니다. Boost Profit은 기본 분배율만 가지며 부스팅 대상이 아닙니다.
Boost participation reward
부스트 참여 보상은 기존 합성자산 수수료 24시간 누적치가 아닌 Boost Profit의 하루 누적된 sKAI 수량으로 변경됩니다. 부스트 참여에 대한 일반 보상과 버닝 부스팅 참여에 대한 버닝 보상으로 구분되며 sKAI 분배 비율은 차후 별도로 안내됩니다. 아래 기재된 공식과 방식은 개발 과정에서 일부 변경될 수 있습니다.
<일반 보상>
기존과 동일하게 참여자가 투자하고 있는 유동성풀/합성자산/예치보상에 부스트하면 참여 지분율에 따라 보상이 차등 분배됩니다. 부스트 지분율은 버닝 부스팅으로 소각된 수량이 반영되지 않습니다.
- 지분율 = 내 부스트 수량 / 총 부스트 수량
<버닝 보상>
부스트 참여자들중 버닝 부스팅으로 프로토콜 파라미터 결정에 참여하고 vKAI 공급량 조절에 기여한 참여자들에 대한 프리미엄 보상입니다. 버닝 보상은 버닝 가중치로 차등 분배됩니다.
- 버닝 가중치 = √((버닝 포인트) * (부스트 수량))
버닝 포인트는 버닝 부스팅 참여자들 사이의 상대 점수입니다. 다른 참여자들의 버닝 부스팅 참여율과 시간의 흐름에 따라 본인의 버닝 포인트가 동적으로 변할 수 있습니다.
- 버닝 포인트 = 상대점수 맥스값 * ((내 버닝 스코어) / (전체 버닝 스코어))
버닝 스코어는 버닝 부스팅 참여로 vKAI 소각 시 얻을 수 있으며 획득 후 라운드 진행과 무관하게 사라지거나 줄어들지 않습니다. 버닝 스코어는 시간 가중치가 반영되어 매 초 n 배로 소각 시 획득할 수 있는 스코어가 늘어나게 됩니다. 이를 통해 기존 참여자들은 버닝 스코어 유지를 위해 지속적으로 버닝 부스팅에 참여할 동인이되고 후발 참여자에게도 공정한 기회가 주어질 수 있습니다.
Improved stabilization mechanism
클레이튼 네트워크의 스테이블 코인 유동성 부족으로 가격 변동성이 높은 편입니다. 라운드 결정 주기를 줄여서 다이내믹한 시장 변동성을 기준 가격(TWAP)에 반영하고 공급량이 조절되도록 변경할 계획입니다.
sKAI/bKAI Stake의 출금 및 락업 유지 기간은 동일합니다. 만약 라운드 주기가 1시간으로 변경될 경우 출금은 + 32 라운드부터, 보상 수령은 +16 라운드부터가 됩니다.
바이백 및 프로토콜 소각으로 KAI의 유통량이 동적으로 변하게 되어 추가 발행량 공식을 다음과 같이 변경합니다.

- TWAP $0.995 이상인 경우 확장 라운드
- 추가 발행량 = KAI 유통량 * 추가 발행율
- 추가 발행율(Min 0.0125%, Max 유통량 발행캡) = (TWAP - 1) * 0.3 / 라운드 변수(기존 라운드 주기내에서 변경으로 늘어난 라운드 수)

Some improvements to the bKAI algorithm
축소 라운드의 bKAI Stake 참여도를 높이기 위해 상환 비율은 확장/축소와 관계없이 1:1로 고정됩니다. bKAI Stake를 통한 보상과 상환 비율 감소로 축소 라운드에서의 bKAI 구매를 유도합니다.
부스트 및 안정화 매커니즘 개선은 12월내 업데이트 목표 입니다. 일부 수식과 적용 내용은 개발 과정에서 변경될 수 있습니다.

We will inform you about the token burning and stabilization mechanism improvement plans for price stabilization.
Decrease in circulation
With the goal of reducing circulation for price stabilization, all of the buyback fund’s KAI, sKAI, and vKAI holdings and part of the dev fund’s sKAI holdings will be burned on the afternoon of 12/8 (Wednesday).
※ Depending on the time of incineration, the amount of KAI for buyback fund and sKAI for dev fund may be slightly different.
In the meantime, the buyback fund plans to hold the buyback KAI like the DAO fund and use it as an asset to expand the buyback fund size, and if it is a large quantity that has a large price impact, it plans to burn it.
When the KAI price recovered with the last Kai Auto launch, market participants perceived the buyback fund KAI holdings as a selling pressure. In response, we changed the direction so that it was not perceived as a selling pressure while reducing the overall circulation by burning the buyback fund’s KAI holdings to increase the price response to service improvement.
At the same time, in order to increase the liquidity pool APR in the short term and increase the price response to service improvement, the sKAI holdings of the dev fund accumulated through contract receipt/liquidity supply quantity/liquidity supply airdrop compensation will also be burned.
In order to balance supply and demand in the future, all fees generated by the buyback and protocol are burned to continuously adjust the supply.
Improved buyback fund algorithm
Monetization
KSP and airdrop tokens acquired through the monetization of the buyback fund are converted into 100% KUSDT and held. Excluding the reserve for the buyback, it is used to construct the portfolio to secure the maximum amount of KSP and airdrop tokens.
Buyback algorithm
Buyback, which was conducted irregularly to prevent arbitrage, is preparing to apply Buyback and KAI’s incineration algorithm. KAI that was bought back before the update is manually burned on a regular basis and will be automatically burned after the update. For efficient use within limited resources, we regularly monitor the Maginot line where the arbitrage bot does not work, and we will notify you separately at the time of application.
sKAI Buyback
If the buyback fund’s stablecoin holdings exceed the KAI circulation, sKAI will be bought back and burned.
vKAI boost service improvement
Change boost target
For KDAI and KUSDC pairs, sKAI will not be airdropped after the update, and will be used as a reward for KUSDT+KAI liquidity incentives and boost participation. Boost Profit only has a base split ratio and is not subject to boosting.
Boost participation reward
The boost participation reward is changed to the amount of sKAI accumulated per day of Boost Profit, not the existing 24 hour accumulation of synthetic asset fees. It is divided into a general reward for participating in a boost and a burning reward for participating in a burning boost, and the sKAI distribution ratio will be announced separately later. The formulas and methods described below are subject to some changes during development.
<general reward>
In the same way as before, if participants boost liquidity pool/synthetics/stake profit in which they are investing, the rewards will be distributed differentially according to the participation rate. The boost stake does not reflect the amount burned by Burning Boost.
- Boost rate = My boost amount / Total boost amount
<Burning reward>
It is a premium reward for those who participated in the protocol parameter determination with burning boosting among the boost participants and contributed to the regulation of the vKAI supply. Burning rewards are distributed differentially by burning weight.
- Burning Weight = √((Burning Point) * (Boost Quantity))
Burning Point is the relative score between Burning Boosting participants. Depending on the burning boosting participation rate of other participants and the passage of time, your burning point may change dynamically.
- Burning Points = Relative score max value * ((My Burning Score) / (Total Burning Score))
Burning scores can be obtained by burning vKAI by participating in Burning Boosting, and after they are acquired, they do not disappear or decrease regardless of the progress of the round. The time weight is reflected in the burning score, so that the score that can be obtained when incinerated increases by n times every second. This will motivate existing participants to continue to participate in burning boosting in order to maintain their burning score, and provide fair opportunities to late participants.
Improved stabilization mechanism
Due to the lack of stablecoin liquidity in the Klaytn network, price volatility is high. By shortening the round decision cycle, we plan to change the dynamic market volatility to reflect the reference price (TWAP) and adjust the supply.
The withdrawal and lockup period of sKAI/bKAI Stake are the same. If the round cycle is changed to 1 hour, withdrawal will be possible from round +32, and claim reward will be available from round +16.
Due to the buyback and protocol burning, KAI’s circulation will change dynamically, so we will change the additional issuance formula as follows.

Some improvements to the bKAI algorithm
To increase bKAI Stake participation in the reduction round, the redemption ratio is fixed at 1:1 regardless of expansion/reduction. Incentivize bKAI purchases in reduction rounds with bKAI Stake rewards and reduced redemption ratio upon claim.
The improvement of the boost and stabilization mechanism is targeted for an update within December. Some formulas and application methods are subject to change during development.
In the long term, we will continue to secure demand by increasing the number of places where KAI is used, and we will strive to maintain supply by incineration of the protocol and the total amount of payment fees.
